TRANSISTOR
A Field-Effect Transistor (FET) is a three-terminal
semiconductor device.
Its terminals include the Source, Gate and Drain. CHAPTER 4
S
SOURCE It is a terminal through which majority charge
carriers enter the channel.
CHAPTER 3
D
DRAIN It is a terminal through which majority charge
carriers leave the channel.
This terminal controls the conductivity
G between source and drain terminals.
GATE It corresponds to the base in a BJT and controls CHAPTER 2
the current flow between the source and drain.
