A positive voltage (VS) is applied to the source of the
MOSFET and a negative voltage is applied to the gate
terminal.
The gate must be more negative than the threshold voltage CHAPTER 2
to allow current flow through source-drain channel.
For maximum operation, the gate voltage should be 0V. The
drain current is at the largest value and the transistor is in
the active 'ON' region of conduction.
